Unless I have a business meeting at a very nice restaurant, I bring my lunch from home. This way is healthier, less expensive and I can prepare exactly what I want. Moreover, I like to bring a variety of foods to snack on throughout the day. This requires a lunch bag.

I’ve been using an old canvas bag as my lunch bag, though a few people suggested I could use an upgrade. I can’t disagree. Besides, the floral pattern on my canvas bag wasn’t me. I’ve long wanted a cool lunch bag, but I had a hard time finding one that wasn’t girlie or bulky. I searched many retail stores with little luck.
Finally, I found something I liked: a Nautica travel kit. It wasn’t marketed as a lunch bag, but it was perfect — stylish, black and compact. It even has a comfortable handle and two zipper compartments. It’s also safe to throw in the washer and dryer. I’m going to give it a try this week.
