Rishad Toboccowala, CEO of Denuo, and one of the most respected media and marketing execs, teamed up with Yahoo for this trade advertisement below in the advertising section of NYTimes.com. I recall Comcast doing mutual back-scratch ads like this with a bunch of media-buying execs over the years (the clever “You’ve Come a Long Way” series), but this is the first time I’ve noticed an online media company doing this. But I’ll tell you one thing: this ad with Rishad sure got my attention, and now I’m writing about it! Rishad will benefit from the exposure, but I think Yahoo benefits most by associating its brand with Rishad’s credibility.
