frustrated cable customer March 28, 2009 at 2:23 pm

I have charter business cable and it's driving me out of business…litteraly. I'm scouring the internet for providers but no'one in my county has FIOS yet so I'm stuck takin' it up the rump with cable for the time being.

ATT U-verse can't get here soon enough.

Same here. The second FIOS is available in my area, I'm dropping my overpriced cable provider.

@maxkalehoff Read “I Finally Switched…” to FIOS. Did you ever get your TiVo working with FIOS? Was it easy or kinda diff?

Have you tested your actual upload or download speeds? I'd love to know what they are.

As I reply to your question, I'm in my attic, three floors above my FioS
wireless router (using my Mac's wifi), on the opposite side of the house.
CNET's bandwidth meter reports 813.2 Kbps. I get much higher readings if I'm
closer in range.
