Want to chat with me live? Now you can, right inside AttentionMax.com, whenever I’m online. I now have Meebo’s meebo me live chat widget installed prominently in the far right column — you can’t miss it. To make room for meebo live and lower my site’s overall download speed, I got rid of my Voki talking avatar. If you really miss my Voki, let me know. But my site analytics indicated few people were clicking on it and and my site’s download speed suffered.
Speaking of Meebo, it also is my preferred instant-message aggregator. I use it to aggregate my instant-message accounts from Google Talk, AIM and Yahoo! Messenger in one elegant experience. I’d also use it to aggregate MSN Messenger, but I can’t retrieve my lost account. If any Meebo peeps are listening, it’d be really great to have it include Skype chat as well!
One last bit on Meebo: I’ve always admired the product aesthetics, user experience and transparency among the people building the service. I like how they integrate the team blog right into the product through an unobtrusive chat window — a great way to communicate with customers. The Meebo team also has cultivated a personality for the company, one which really puts its customers first. Meebo continues to influence the way I think about marketing at my own startup.

i have used meebo recently and found it very effective. Especially since it allows users to chat that have different messaging networks. For example I can talk to AIM users and windows messenger users at the same time without having multiple programs open. I would highly recommend everyone to use meebo for their messaging needs.
