Your Are What You Say, So Say Good Things

January 11th, 2008  |

Thanks to TagCrowd, I created the following text cloud based on all the current visible text on the main landing page of this blog. As you can see, it’s a visualization of vernacular, listed alphabetically, with frequency indicated by font size and color. While an interesting depiction, nothing is too surprising to me. However, I would like to see “social” (as in “social media”) diminish over time. I just don’t like that term very much, so I don’t want to be associated with it here.

For comparison, I created a text cloud based on the landing page of AdScam, a favorite blog authored by George Parker, famous for his sarcastic, hilarious and curmudgeonly observations of the ad industry. I’ll let words speak for themselves. Just remember: you are what you say, so say good things.
