Well I can certainly say that I don’t have the answer to that question. Is it because my company is too young and trying to find the answer, or is it actually there somewhere and am I completely at fault for not knowing.

I need to hire the A-team. Do you know if the A-team is still around in that black van with the fancy red design on the side? Better yet do they work for equity positions in start-ups?

More seriously put: I’m a engineer and computer programmer not a brand designer by education, experiance, and in my heart. I know what my product can do, but what is my brand’s narrative? I feel strange facing the fact that I’ve been running a company for 2 years and working on building if for 8 years, but I can’t answer this question.

Thanks for your comment. I thing your very consciousness of the issue, and this very discussion, is helping to build the brand. It’s all about identifying with who you really are. Then tell us the stories that exemplify that. It’s not rocket science. Would be happy to talk further.
