Which Companies And Execs Receive The Most Blog Hype?

My colleagues at Nielsen BuzzMetrics created an algorithm for Portfolio magazine’s Hype Report, which:

“dynamically tracks companies and executives that have been blogged about in the past 72 hours. Those who’ve appeared most frequently in the blogosphere appear under Leaders. Those with the highest percentage gain in the previous 24 hours appear under Gainers.”

It’s pretty cool…check it out live here. From day one, Condé Nast’s new Portfolio is embracing the fact that journalism and news value today is as much about smart aggregation as it is about original human reporting and analysis.
